One Book Review is due per trimester

1- a complete summary of the book (more than 3 paragraphs, more than 1 page)

2- a paragraph explaining your connections with the book (character, setting, and /or situation)

3- a paragraph recommending if Ms. Craner should read the book or not and why

Language! live

Many students need to learn the basics of the English language. By

using the Language! Live program, the students will focus on the

basics of English, identify where they are lacking, work at their own pace and at their level, and hone in on what skills they need to master to be proficient English language learners.

Writing

Students will complete writing assignments such

as RACES paragraphs, free writing, and

descriptive writing. They will be expected to make

corrections on their writing again and again until

it is exemplary.
